I’ll admit, when it comes to sightings of extra terrestrial life I’m not quite as skeptical as I should be. That said, LOOK AT THIS.MANY MANY MANY sightings of the same inexplicable event on the eve of the hurricane’s landing in New York. Are the Aliens here to check out the hurricane? Did they choose this moment of extreme earthly distraction to descent upon the most populous city in the United States? You decide.

I can hardly believe it, but CNN posted a list of the 22 most fascinating and bizzare courses offered this semester and Brown University was NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. These are the exact kind of tabulations that  usually ridicule my alma mater with delight but NAY. You CNN, you resisted.

STORM WATCH: DAY 2

Apologies for those posts last night. Clearly some parts of the survival kit affected me more strongly than others.

Day 2 began with MULTIPLE calls from parents in shockingly quick succession. I guess they’re worried because the storm is in North Carolina, which, at the current speed, is DAYS away from here. DAYS.

Thus far we’re steadily making our way through our perishable food items and “Garden of Eatin’ Blue Chips” watching The L-Word from the beginning, and patiently waiting for the hour it becomes acceptable to start drinking again (which hopefully will be soon).

A Confession

Ever since the first time I watched I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant I have feared I was in a late term pregnancy, unexpectedly and unknowingly with misleadingly regular monthly periods. It has been very distracting.
